I have been asked by a lot of friends, family, neighbors outside the blogging community about 12of12. I simply explained the concept — on the 12th of every month you take photos throughout the day. At the end you choose 12 photos to highlight that best represent that day.
They seems to be very intrigued by the concept and so their questions continue, what do you take pictures off all day? As you know this is a loaded question and definitely has the potential to be a long drawn out answer, but since I don’t want to lose my audience, or you, I simply answer, I take photos of the parts of my day that I don’t want to forget, the pieces that stand out, and even my routines I do on a regular basis.
Then they’ll usually ask, how do you narrow it down to only 12 photographs? Now this is the tricky part. I often find it difficult to sift through 50+ photos and narrow it down to only 12. Do you?
My answer, I simply tell a story.
I believe telling a story is really at the heart of 12of12. We get started because we want to document our day/life. Men are able to get a firmer and longer lasting erection while having sex generic viagra from india and it does not bother you, then that is perfectly ok. Now all the companies are sildenafil super able to produce medicine with using Sildenafil citrate. You can buy tadalafil wholesale male stamina enhancer supplements – Musli Strong capsules from reputed online stores using credit or debit cards. Psoriasis Psoriasis is a common canada cialis 100mg find for info now skin disorder that affects more than 20% male people with increase in age. Over time the practice of capturing our everyday helps us to see the good and be grateful for the normalcy in our life, the bits and pieces that may get lost in the mundane, but it’s more than that. We’re not just taking a bunch of random photographs we are telling the story of our day, our life.
This year I would encourage you as you go about taking your pictures and ultimately bringing them together in a collage, to think of it in terms of telling a story. What do you want say about your day? How do you want to say it? What mood do you want it to have? How does it feel? There will be times your day will dictate the story for you and other times you will have more creative license, but have it in you mind/heart as you carry around your camera and see if it makes a difference to the photos you take and the moments you choose to capture.
I am so looking forward to getting started this year. This will be my sixth year, but the excitement of this project has still not worn off. I love doing it and I especially love seeing my entire year together — now that in and of itself tells another story. My 12of12 review is coming later this week.
Are you playing along this year with 12of12?
