Megan has more than once been called a chatterbox. For those of you who have been around her, for even a short period of time, know exactly what I’m talking about. In fact when we tell people she never stops talking I don’t think they believe us until they’re actually with her and get to experience her first hand.
Though at times I must admit it can be a little annoying, I more than not enjoy listening to her talk. She has the cutest little voice and never ceases to amaze me by the things she says. Just last night when Adam asked her if she wanted to take a bath she said, “actually I do”. The other day when I was in the middle of a conversation with Adam she said to me, “mommy stop talking it’s my turn to talk” and proceeded to take over the conversation. Last week when my nephew Alan was over playing I heard yelling from the other room and one of the girls said, “go tell mom”. Then Megan yelled, “No, I’ll tell”. She came running in to be the first to tell me she hit Tess. I guess it doesn’t matter what it is as long as she gets to say it.
Some of my favorite phrases are:
“so funny” with a laugh
“but I want to”
“so sparkly” she says this about her kitty right after it comes out of the washer&dryer.
“I just want you”
“tickle me now”
“I hurt myself, kiss it mommy kiss it”
“I need you”
“mhmm…”
The picture is amazing- she is such a cutie! I love all the little things like this- and that she wanted to tell you first that she kit Tess- priceless! Two year old talk is by far one of my favorite things about Mya.
i just love meg. she has such a way about her that is just so loveable… and no kidding she is a chatterbox, too cute!!!
I love it when they start talking so much and they have that cute little babyish voice!
Chatterbox is right! She literally never stops talking, but she’s definitely all kinds of cute.
how cute. I love the “so sparkly” comment.
Sweet Meggie, can’t stop talking and definitely can’t stop licking the frosting knife!
She is so adorable! Such a cute picture. I love it when they use words like “actually”. You would have to just melt if she said, “I just want you” to you.
My 2 year old son is the same way. Except he says everything super loud also. He is starting to come in to his normal speaking voice. I love hearing all the new things he says each day.
Here it is Dane (3). He talks all day long and has commentary with himself. Half the time I think he is talking to one of the big kids but no it is just to himself. It is so funny, I need to sneak up on him and get it on camera!
How cute! I hope you have lots of video of her talking. She will love it in 20 years.
The phrase “So cute it hurts” is coming to my mind. She is so adorable. She makes me laugh when she even says simple things like “hi mommy”. It’s the nonchalant way she says it as she passes the kitchen in her cute helium-filled voice. I wish I could hug her.
Let me qualify this by saying, I have my own chatterbox and I know there are times you don’t want to write down what they’re saying and you wish you could just enjoy a MOMENT of silence. Just a moment. Alone. With your own thoughts, even.
So cute! Kaitlin is just the same way, except these days she’s singing about everything–constantly. Her favorite songs are “The Family Song” and “And we are” (And we are at Jason’s Deli, and we are going to Jenna’s house, and we are going to play with Andrew. . . .” It’s cracking me up!
Kids are soo cute .. I love this photo .. it’s really a gorgeous one of her!!
