- It all started Friday with the blog party. I had such a good time meeting all of you I don’t know personally and seeing all those that I do. Jana I enjoyed cleaning the bathroom with my new grapefruit cleaning spray. Thanks.
- I woke up Saturday with Megan and her ear ache. I think we are on number 12. I stopped counting since she gets them about once a month. So I spent most of my morning at the doctors, and getting her a prescription.
- Then Saturday afternoon we headed out to Estee’s, my niece, 1st birthday party. It was a lot of fun and the kids had such a good time. They are still talking about it. I had the enjoyable task of documenting the day with Amy’s fabulous new camera. I have since seen some of the photos on her blog and hope they are happy with them. I really enjoyed doing it. Interesting to note…while there I met some fellow blog readers. It was really good to meet you.
- Then off to costco and home. I think by the time we got home it was so late I didn’t have it in my to do anything else. We got the kids taken care of and watched “King Kong”. I am not sure what I thought about it. - Got up early Sunday to review my lesson, which we didn’t even have time to give. My class ended up watching a 15 minute video on the temple instead.
- When we got back from church we quickly ate dinner and then started to clean. Our ward has an elders quorum gathering every fast Sunday where everyone brings a dessert and just hangs out. I love these parties. We finally had it at our house. We were suppose to do it last month, but had to cancel as that’s the week everyone had the flu. Even though it felt crazy getting ready for, I loved having it here. I just love my ward. Love it. By the time everyone left it was 9pm.
So this morning I am enjoying a little calm. No where to go. Nothing really pressing to do, but laundry and packing. Just taking it easy before my week starts to get crazy. I am leaving for camp tomorrow morning. I am looking forward to a break from the norm and getting to know the girls in my class. It should be a really good time.
I am so glad you guys had a good time. The photos are AMAZING, you caught all the details and captured the whole day… thanks again. I sent you a couple shots of your girls to your gmail acct.
have fun at camp, sounds like a relaxing, fun time.
I can’t believe Megan has another ear infection–when are they going to put tubes in her ears and be done with all of this hassle for you? Poor girl.
I haven’t heard anything good about King Kong, so I’m surprised you didn’t have anything to say about it.
Good luck at Girl’s Camp this week, my kids are super excited to have your kids over. I hope Megan is feeling better by the time she comes to me. Have fun and enjoy yourself.
Seriously, has Megan had enough infections for them to finally consider tubes? Lucas had them (twice) and it made a huge difference. But it sure is a pain to wait until they have enough infections for the insurance to cover the surgery.
I hope you have fun at camp!
I’m also shocked they haven’t put tubes in her ears. Hope she is feeling better. Ear infections are no fun!
You were really busy. I cannot believe you had that much going in one weekend. I can’t believe you will be MIA from blogging for a whole week. What will we do without your fabulous thoughts?
Good luck at girls camp.
I totally loved meeting you! I think I am even more in love with your blog now that I have met you 🙂 I love being able to have a calm Monday after a busy weekend, especially since you will be gone the rest of the week. I hope you have a BLAST!
I am so jealous you are going to girls camp. I hope you have so much fun, but we will miss you, I can’t stand when you have not written for one day.
Oh and about your comment to me about the docs office, funny I was just thinking the last time I saw you, they were trying to induce Labor with Bella, I believe in the office. I could not believe how great you looked even pregnant, so not fair.
Enjoy your trip, can’t wait to hear about it.
Oh and get that girl some tubes. Brynn had ear infections every month, to two a month, they finally did tubes after 24 antibotics and a bacterial infection. With tubes she was able to walk and talk (which she struggled with before) and never has had one since.
I’m sorry about the ear infections for your daughter. My daughter is six now and on her third set of tubes. She has seizures, and has lots when she gets sick. As a baby she had ear infections all the time and then when she started having seizures they were always with an ear infection and fever. But I must say, the tubes do help so ask the doctor about them. Good luck
