One of my most favorite things about the holidays are the lights. The lights in your home that make everything seem warmer, the lights outside as you drive around the neighborhood keeping you feeling festive, and of course the lights downtown at Temple Square that make us ooh and ahh and remember the reason for the season.
This year we went with some friends in the neighborhood. They kids are pretty close friends so it was fun to watch them enjoy the lights together. You know how kids are, running around saying things like, “you have to see this, come on!”. They even asked me to take pictures of them while we were walking around. It will be nice when they can bring their own cameras along and take their own shots (did I mention Bella and Tess both want a camera for Christmas…love that).

I really do love that visiting the temple grounds has become apart of our holiday tradition. I’m evening hoping if we have time we will do it again before the year is through.
