2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don’t even remember what my New Years resolutions were last year. I guess you could say i must not have done them. Ha. I think a lot of my resolutions are tied up in my word for the year which was choose. Yes, I felt like I did a good job choosing–where I want to go and what i want to be.

3. Did anyone close to you die?
My neighbors son died and it was a devastating blow to all of us.

4. What countries did you visit?
I did not travel the world this year.

5. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
more light and peace

6. What dates from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 30th. It was the day of my BYU Woman’s conference talk. It was something I wanted to do, but was terrified of at the same time. Counting down to the day was with me for the first quarter of the year.

7. What was your biggest personal achievement of the year?
Sorry to be a broken record, but it was definitely getting ready for and speaking at BYU Woman Conference. I guess you could say it was something I never thought I’d be able to do, but I did and it was amazing.

8. What was your biggest failure?
Not doing enough. Letting little things hold me back from moving forward.

9. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes I had surgery in February to remove a tumor from my neck. Although I was more than happy with the results, the tumor was benign, the recovery was longer than I had anticipated.

10. What was the best thing you bought?
hmmm. a ticket to both Portland, OR and North Carolina

11. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Tess choose to get baptized and become a member of the LDS church and has made great strides with her reading.

12. Where did most of your money go?
I have no idea and admit would be too afraid to find out.

13. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
North Carolina and meeting all the wonderful woman who filled me up and continue to do so.

a) definitely happier
b) i am the same–no complaints there. I wish I could say p90x made me fitter, and it did except 2 weeks without doing it is like never having done it.
c) i’m sure this is talking about money but that’s not how i’m taking it. my life feels richer, fuller–so grateful for that.

projects. i didn’t create nearly as much as I wanted.
oh and writing. wish i had written in my journal more.

Ray LaMontagne, but as usual he was not my discovery. Adam found him.

i saw my life in a very beautiful magical way.

nothing. i am quite content

Like books I’m not sure i had a favorite, but right off the top of my head True Grit, Inception, and Tangled were definitely memorable.

I turned 34.

It was definitely a relaxed style. I wore more 3/4 length sleeves, lots of jeans, yes some skinny, & sweaters.
