Throughout the years I have, for the most part, reminded you all on the 11th of the month about the 12of12. I know the month can be long and it’s easy to forget so I want to give you a heads up.

This year I would like to do something a little bit different. Instead of just reminding you all about the 12th I want to share what other 12of12 participate think about this project. Specifically what they love and why they keep coming back and doing it month after month.

Here is Kasey Laughlin thoughts. You can see all of her pictures on her blog post here.

LOVE this project that I started from Amy Gretchen.

I started this in 2013 and I am in LOVE. Being able to focus on 12 things for each month has really made me more aware of our everyday lives. Sure, we always try to document the big things, birthdays, holidays, school, vacations, BUT being able to slow down and become more conscious of our everyday life. It’s fantastic! A great way to document your life and small moments.

It’s helped me try to be more creative with my photography. It’s great to be able to look back throughout the year and see what we were doing on the same date for each month. My boys LOVE reminding me that it is the 12th. They give suggestions on what my 12 for the day could be. 🙂

Thank you Kasey. I loved reading how the 12of12 has help you become more aware of your everyday. It has done the very same thing for me!

P.S. I also wanted to point out how Kasey uses her own collage. Remember you can use my collage (found here under how do I make the collage) or you can make your own.

I would love to hear from you as well. If you have participated in the 12of12 project before I would love for you to let me know why? WHy do you love it? WHy do you keep coming back? Does it make a difference? What is your
